CAN I OWN MY OWN HOME?

Potential buyers must meet income eligibility requirements. These
requirements are defined 50% or less and no more than eighty (80%)
of the median income for Cumberland County and are adjusted for family
size. The income limits for 2008 are:

Potential buyers must be first-time homebuyers. A first-time homebuyer
is defined as someone who has never before owned a home, has owned
a mobile home but not the land the mobile home was located on, someone
who has not owned a home in the last three years, or someone who has
lost their home due to a divorce settlement and has not owned a home
since.
- Credit and criminal
background checks will be made on all potential buyers. Carlisle Housing
Opportunities Corporation reserves the right to refuse sale to any
individual(s) with a history of poor credit or criminal involvement.
